Hey all! Thanks for visiting my website. I’m Anastasia (Anna) Oehlerking, a student at Yale University majoring in Environmental Engineering with Certificates in Energy Studies and Data Science. I am an aspiring Environmental Engineer with a passion for finding sustainable solutions to our world’s climatic issues, particularly air pollution and its impact on public health and environmental justice. This website serves as my digital portfolio, providing an insight into my experiences and what I have been able to contribute to the scientific community so far.

Originally from near Duluth, Minnesota, I grew up surrounded by water and learning to appreciate the value of nature. Now, I hope to use my skills in science, entrepreneurship, and sustainability to work towards mitigating the negative affects of climate change on humanity and the ecological systems of the world.

Through my education and experiences in multiple realms of environmental research, I have fallen in love with studying the interconnectivity of abiotic factors throughout various ecological systems and spheres. I am very excited to see how these relationships can be factored into new infrastructure and technologies in the energy and transportation sectors so that we can create a less carbon-filled future, and allow our atmosphere and water systems to heal from the damaging particles that we have been pumping into them for over a century.
